Wedding Invitations

I got my wedding invitations in today! They are already at the post office and will be on their way to my guests tomorrow. They look really good!
I cannot wait until our wedding. Phillip is everything that I could have ever asked for. He knows what I need and want without me saying a word. I have watched so many brides walk down the aisle and now- it is my turn. I could not be happier! I am so in love!

The photo was taken with my cell phone, so please forgive the poor quality.

Brown and Pink Centerpieces

Of all of the weddings that I have planned or been involved with in some way, mine has been the most challenging -- design wise. I believe it is because of the colors that I have chosen. That was another reason that I chose this color scheme, though... because I had never done it. I finally found the perfect centerpieces! I bought these Cherry Blossom Branches, standing 38" tall, in buckets and I am going to snip them out of the buckets and put them in 30" pilsner vases. I got them from Craigslist (that is where the photo is from as well) for $130 for 8 buckets!! That is a STEAL!
Since the branches are brown and the cherry blossoms are the perfect shade of pink, these will be PERFECT for our reception! We will also have about 12 votives on each of the tables along with scattered petals. Our linens will make a huge impact at the reception as well... Chocolate brown tablecloths, Bubblegum pink chaircovers, and Satin Chocolate Sashes.

Custom Aisle Runner

Hand-painted and gorgeous!! I love it!! Tell me what you think!!

Wedding Cakes are Great!

Wedding cakes are one of my favorite parts of a wedding. You can be so creative with edibles! I found some photos that I love and I have been talking with our baker here at I Do Weddings (who just happens to be my mother) and we have decided to do a funky cake for my wedding. I am going to do a 4-tiered version of the cake above... How cute will that be!? I will post photos after the wedding! :)
